BET Ends “Rap City” and change it to “The Deal”
Black Entertainment Television (BET) announced last September 30 that the most popular rap music video program Rap City. BET has announced the official word on their website.
According to their Sound off blog, “Rap City” will be replaced by “The Deal” hosted by DJ Diamond Kutz.
“The Deal” will consist of old and new elemenets from “Rap City“. Hip-Hop videos will continue to play but now they will be accompanied by pop-ups with facts on the given artist/songs and the booth which is the trademark of “Rap City” for artist to showcase their freestyle skills will still remain in “The Deal“.
“Rap City” is more than just a place for hip-hop videos, Rap City gave fame to several host, like Chris Thomas, Hans Dobson, Prince Dejour and Joe Clair and Leslie Segar (a.k.a “Big Lez“)
“The Deal” premieres on Bet on November 10th.
