About Makio Hasuike
After Graduating at the university of Arts of Tokyo in 1962, Makio Hasuike began his career in Japan. For one year the worked as a designer for Seiko, designing 20 different clocks for the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games.
He established himself in Italy in 1963, working since then in different fields of design.
In 1968 he set up his own studio in Milan, Makio Hasuike Design.
In 1982 he created MH WAY, an experimental project aimed at conceiving and marketing an innovative product. This thorough design activity directly confronted and distribution. The company, still active today, is a rare example successful “design company”. In over 40 years of activity, he cooperated with several Italian and foreign companies, contributing to their success through design solutions that are innovative in terms of apperance and contents. His projects obtained many prizes and acknowledgements suchs as: “Compasso D’Oro”, “Triennale”, “Design Plus” and permanent exhibition at the MoMA of New York. He is a member of the founding committee of the Master in Strategic Design at the Polytechnic of Milan as well as teaching at the Faculty of Industrial Design of Milan from academic year 1995 – 96 to 2004-05.

those pieces look so modern.. has that real modern contemporary look. i love it, too bad it’s 8000 a piece .. crap mst be made out of gold lol
