Spicy Stir-Fried Beef
Ingredients
1/2 kilo beef sirloin
1 cup shredded carrots
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup bamboo shoots
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup water chestnuts
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 stalks spring onions, sliced
vegetable oil spray
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, cut into strips
Directions
1. Trim fat from the beef. Slice then cut into strips.
2. In a glass bowl, combine the beef, cornstarch, soy sauce and pepper. Blend well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. Put a skillet over high heat and spray 3 times with vegetable oil spray. Saut? the ginger and garlic. Add the marinated beef and cook until beef is brown.
4. Add the remaining ingredients and cook for a few more minutes. Serve hot.
